Easter quamblings...
Easter is upon us. What a great time of the year. Not only a time of reflection and celebration, but also of newness. We celebrate the Messiah's death and resurrection, as well as prepare for warmer weather coming our way.
I also have found it is a time that really unifies the world, quite interestingly. This is the time when those who usually never darken the doorway of a church are present in the pews. It is also the time when churches (well, around here anyways) get together for a Good Friday service or Easter Sunday Service. It seems that even though many can't explain it, families and communities come together for this important weekend.
...and I don't think that it's because of the Easter Bunny.
What a weird thing, once you think about it. I wonder why rabbits are so associated with easter? And why do they hand out eggs? RABBITS DON'T LAY EGGS!!!!
Well, I'm looking forward to Easter. It will be busy for me, being a pastor and all, but I'm looking forward to it. My in-laws are coming over for a meal, and it's also the first time I won't be in Swift Current for the weekend (4 years running). Oh well...Regina sounds good to me.
Oh, I just thought you should know... I like game show bloopers. They are so funny!!! I found a pretty good one from Family Feud the other day. Check it out here. September....so funny.
Oh, here's another good one. Those Japanese sure know how to prank people.
Anyways, this blog has been pretty random. I hope you all have a great easter. Enjoy the videos.

Hey Josh! It's funny you should ask that question, about bunnies and eggs, because I've heard it asked (and answered) about 3 times in the past 7 days :)
Easter happens in spring. New life:
Rabbits are fertile (haha bear with me - new life), eggs represent new life (babies, that hatch).
So, they are two symbols that got combined into one. Check it out on google, it'll have a ton more info :)
hello to you and krista! by the way :) hope you're well
